About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to our Cath Lab/Cardiology Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a PRN opportunity offering various day shifts. This Cardiovascular Technologist will work day shifts and perform technical duties such as scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for: Prepares the Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients. Performs technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring, and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, and peripherals. Performs technical duties such as scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring. Assists with the monitoring and care of the patient as directed. Requirements
- Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience
- Experience working at another hospital
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
- Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
- The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
