About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technician to join the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting, operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders, assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician and support the education, training and quality improvement process. Position Specifics: • Department: Cath Lab • Core function: Imaging • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, day shift • Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital • Location: O’Fallon, IL • Compensation aligned with experience + shift differentials on top of base rate!

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Radiology required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
  • 4 years Special Procedures experience required.
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required
  • ARRT
  • BLS

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
