About The Position
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Performs diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders. Assists the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician. Supports the education, training and quality improvement process. Position Specifics: • Department: Cath Lab • Core function: Imaging • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, day shift • Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital • Location: O’Fallon, IL • Compensation aligned with experience + shift differentials on top of base rate!
Requirements
- Applicable Bachelors or Associates degree in Radiology required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
- Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is require
- BLS
Nice To Haves
- 2 years Special Procedures experience prefered.
Responsibilities
