Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist 2 (Cath Lab)
About The Position
Join our team of Rad Techs who specialize in cardiovascular procedures. The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist 2 assists the physician in performing interventional, cardiovascular, and operating room procedures. Produces images to actively assist the attending physician. Uses pre-established imaging protocols and departmental policy to perform safe operation of imaging equipment and all functions of the job. May provide complete pre and post education to patients and family. Able to evaluate competency level of others as preceptor in cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology, and/or interventional radiology. Increased departmental responsibilities delegated by the clinical supervisor or lead tech including but not limited too: coordinating departmental inventory, mentoring and training incoming imaging tech 1’s, aspects of departmental radiation protection, assist with departmental education, perform annual survey of the departmental lead vests. Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
