As a Cardiovascular Clinical Data Quality Abstractor/Analyst, you will be responsible for the review, clinical abstraction, analysis, and interpretation of hospital registry data, retrospectively as well as concurrently, in order to ensure compliance with nationally recognized quality patient care processes and clinical outcomes standards. Position: Cardiovascular Clinical Data Abstractor – 16 hours/week- This role is 100%25 remote Shift: 16 hours/week- can work 4 or 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- A minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical cardiology-related setting required.
- Working knowledge of ACC/STS clinical databases required.
- Recent, substantial and direct hospital registry data abstraction/analyst experience.
- Experience with medical terminology required.
- Proficient with the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Nice To Haves
- RN preferred or graduate from a health management program preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in a related health or medical program preferred or 10+ years related experience.
- Administrative support training preferred.
- Supplemental training in area of specialty preferred.
- Applicable licensure preferred but not essential with substantial and strong abstraction/analyst experience.
