About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech to support physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile techniques to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- 6–12 months in a CVT-accredited program or Minimum 2 years in a cardiac vascular/cath lab setting
- Acute care hospital experience required
- Cath lab scrub experience required
Nice To Haves
- Peripheral and neuro experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, procedure trays, and specialized equipment
- Assist physicians with procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, valvuloplasty, IVUS, and stent placement
- Perform patient prep (EKG lead placement, skin prep, draping)
- Monitor and calibrate hemodynamic equipment
- Operate power injectors and digital imaging systems
- Manage imaging/data storage and transfer
- Support emergency interventions and patient stabilization
- Assist with sheath removal and vascular closure procedures
- Troubleshoot and maintain cath lab equipment
- Support inventory and supply management
- Deliver patient-centered care and ensure compliance with safety standards
