About The Position

Join our dynamic team in the Catheterization Lab as a Cardiovascular Assistant! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting CPRU/Cath Lab/EP Lab teams in the care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures and unit standards to provide quality patient care. The Heart and Vascular Center at CentraCare is among the largest in Minnesota, offering advanced cardiac care, and cardiovascular assistants play a vital role in maintaining this high standard of service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Open to 1st year SCTCC Cardiovascular Technology students
• Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant or EMT training course or equivalent experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of Nursing Assistant duties and responsibilities with medical terminology course preferred
• Past experience in a variety of nursing areas preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist CPRU/Cath Lab/EP Lab teams in patient care
• Follow established policies and procedures
• Maintain quality patient care standards
