Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
About The Position
Methodist Healthcare System is seeking experienced Physician Assistants to join our dynamic Cardiothoracic Heart Surgery Program in San Antonio, Texas . As part of our collaborative PA surgical team, youll provide vital support across Cardiothoracic and Lung Transplant services . We value candidates who are passionate about advancing their skills—our comprehensive training and development programs are designed to help you thrive and grow within a high-performing surgical environment. . Clinical responsibilities will predominantly be operative with a minority of time spent on inpatient care in support of our separate inpatient team. For experienced Physician Assistants familiar with cardiac surgery and endoscopic vein harvesting techniques, a four-day week is an option.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited physician assistant program
- Texas license eligible
- Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS provider
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cardiac surgery or CVICU a plus
