HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an experienced cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice. The incoming provider will support our well-respected and experienced cardiothoracic surgeons in our employed practice, rounding on patients in the hospital, and first assisting in cardiac and thoracic surgery procedures. The position involves working in one hospital with some ICU work depending on need. Experience in the OR is preferred, but we are willing to train the ideal candidate. Experience with cardiothoracic patients is preferred, and proficiency in vein harvesting (EVH and open) is ideal but can be taught.
