Cardiothoracic Surgery Office Advanced Provider II (APRN/PA)
About The Position
We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to join the elite Lee Health Heart Institute with our Cardiothoracic Surgery Team! Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty providers with multiple practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds. Position Information: Located at Shipley Cardiothoracic Surgery Center Scheduled procedures are Monday through Friday Call coverage including nights and weekends on rotation as part of a team EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for both inpatient and outpatient settings
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program with current, active certification
- Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Required ACLS may be required as identified/area of specialty.
- Physician Assistant License Required in the State of Florida; Board-Certified as PA
- Must meet credentialing requirements as established by the LMHS Medical Staff Services department. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
