Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Hartford, CT Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Feb 2026 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Shift Schedule: Mon -Fri; 645a -5p Call Schedule: Nights & weekends - approx. 7 -8 calls per month Call Ratio: 3 providers taking call Shift/Call Coverage: Hospital Based all IP OR/ICU/Rounding of patients in ER & floors. Patient Demographics: Adult & Geriatric Rounding Included: Yes (ER & floors) Ave. No. of Cases per day: 2 cases per day Annual ER Volume: 85,000 Support Staff: Full complement Required Procedures: - Descending Aortic Aneurysms, CABG, Off -Pump CABG, Arterial Revascularization -Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery & Gastroepiploic Artery. - Redo Coronary Revascularization, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracic aortic aneurysms, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Core Valve System, Mitral Valve Repair. No. of ORs: 3 Trauma Level: I EMR: Epic Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

- Active CT License
- BC
- BLS & ACLS
- Local/mileage need only
