About The Position

Valley View Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a cardiac focus to join our expanding Heart & Vascular program. This position offers a rare opportunity to deliver advanced, patient-centered cardiac care within an independent health system that prioritizes physician partnership, clinical excellence, and long-term program development. The incoming surgeon will join a collaborative cardiovascular team committed to providing sophisticated cardiac care close to home for patients across Colorado’s Western Slope. The role offers meaningful opportunity to contribute to program growth, clinical innovation, and the continued development of a high-quality regional cardiac surgery service.

Requirements

Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Primary clinical focus in adult cardiac surgery
Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
Interest in community-based practice and program development
Experience, clinical judgment, and collaborative mindset needed to integrate smoothly into an active cardiothoracic surgery program, contribute across the full scope of services, and play a meaningful role in stewarding the continued growth and excellence of Valley View’s Heart & Vascular program.
