Approximately 3 weekends per month
Callback Rate: Approximately 2–4 hours per day
Ongoing weekend coverage; approximately 3 weekends per month

Requirements

• PA license required or willingness to obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• DEA Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Comfortable with urgent surgical cases and weekend call coverage
• Cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• ICU and post-operative management
• Emergency surgical interventions

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend cardiothoracic surgery call coverage
• Manage inpatient consults and surgical cases
• Perform surgical interventions as needed
• Collaborate with APPs and surgical team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
