• Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Hartford, CT • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Feb 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 645a-5p • Call Schedule: Nights & weekends - approx. 7-8 calls per month • Call Ratio: 3 providers taking call • Shift/Call Coverage: Hospital Based all IP OR/ICU/Rounding of patients in ER & floors. • Patient Demographics: Adult & Geriatric • Rounding Included: Yes (ER & floors) • Ave. No. of Cases per day: 2 cases per day • Annual ER Volume: 85,000 • Support Staff: Full complement • Required Procedures: - Descending Aortic Aneurysms, CABG, Off-Pump CABG, Arterial Revascularization-Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery & Gastroepiploic Artery. - Redo Coronary Revascularization, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracic aortic aneurysms, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Core Valve System, Mitral Valve Repair. • No. of ORs: 3 • Trauma Level: I • EMR: Epic • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

- BC
- BLS & ACLS
- Local/mileage need only
