The Cardiorenal Sales Consultant role is a pivotal position within Bayer, focusing on building and nurturing professional relationships with healthcare professionals in the fields of cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, and primary care. This position requires a proactive approach to drive the appropriate utilization of approved cardiovascular products, working closely with other Bayer commercial associates to generate pull-through within local payers and community healthcare providers. The consultant will leverage their expertise in diabetes, nephrology, and cardiovascular disease to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges in the marketplace. In this role, the consultant will provide relevant and thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues, including sales leadership and regional account managers, regarding strategic and tactical planning for their assigned territory. They will develop and implement effective customer-specific territory plans, ensuring optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential. Understanding the assigned customers' product and business needs is crucial, as the consultant will work to meet those needs while adhering to Bayer's ethics and compliance standards. The consultant will also anticipate potential barriers to achieving goals and propose responsible solutions for success. With long-standing relationships with key customers and in-depth knowledge of the disease state, key drivers, influencers, and prescribing patterns in their territory, the consultant will effectively handle customer objections and exceed customer expectations. Additionally, they may be called upon to share their exemplary skills with others in the region in a training capacity. This role is residence-based in the US, covering the Lubbock, TX area, and candidates must reside in or be able to reasonably commute to this territory. Visa sponsorship may be offered for this role.
