Job Summary Under the direction of the CV Director-Cardiopulmonary or System Director-Cardiopulmonary in the lack there of, the Respiratory Supervisor coordinates and executes the activities of staff within the CV Respiratory Therapy Department or staff assigned to special teams/programs. The Supervisor is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating all aspects relating to patient care. The Supervisor determines what skill level of staff member is needed to maintain unit or program needs, utilizing evidence based information. The Supervisor assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the pillars of excellence (Finance, Delivery, Quality, Patient/Employee Experience, Safety, and Growth) into their job performance. The Supervisor is able to function independently and may on occasion provide direct patient care according to the needs of the unit or program. The Supervisor shall assist the Director-Cardiopulmonary/System Director Cardiopulmonary in executing HonorHealth's vision, mission and values, exceeding the expectations of all customers/stake holders associated with the CV Respiratory Department.
