About The Position

Registered Nurse :
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application
of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s
plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our vision: To be our
regions’ most trusted partner in healthcare.  The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary
caregiver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care
team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient
outcomes.  The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and
makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others.  The Staff
Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the
indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Registered Respiratory Therapist :
The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory pharmacologic,
diagnostic, and therapeutic modalities to all age groups. The practitioner
provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other team members,
the physician, and the patient/family to achieve optimal outcomes. This position
acts as a liaison with other clinical departments. The individual provides
clinical leadership throughout the system. The incumbent has access to
confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in
collaboration with other team members, directors and physicians. The Registered
Respiratory Therapist works under the indirect supervision of the Respiratory
Care Supervisor.

Cardiac Exercise Physiologist
The exercise physiologist is part of a multi-disciplinary team caring for
patients participating in cardiac and pulmonary rehab. The exercise physiologist
evaluates a patient’s cardiovascular/pulmonary function and metabolism and then
designs a fitness plan that will meet the patient’s goals and/or needs,
including building endurance and strength and increasing fitness and
flexibility.
