The only thing missing is you! Responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary disease processes. Provides exercise and activity supervision, counseling and training during each session. Provides education and counseling on heart/lung-healthy living. Monitor, tract and document vital signs, symptoms and progress during sessions. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Current certification or registry for Exercise Physiology or state Respiratory Therapist license required
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Exercise Physiology or Respiratory Therapy required
  • Two (2) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of exercise physiology and/or cardiopulmonary services.
  • Possesses and maintains an active ASEP, EP-C, CEP, or NRBC RRT credential.
  • Current ACLS certification or within three (3) months of hire.

Responsibilities
