About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Cardiophysiology Tech. is responsible for operating EKG machines, stress testing equipment, and holter monitors to provide data for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease in conjunction with the established departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities also include performing patient transports and transfers using the appropriate equipment and safe patient handling policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Education – High School graduate or equivalent.
- Licensure/Certifications - Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS CPR or approved equivalent (must include infant through adult, one and two-man rescuer, use of AED, and choking with hands-on CPR skills return demonstration, and must be pre-approved by Org Dev/Human Resources) completed prior to employment.

- Experience – EKG or direct patient care experience
- Licensure/Certifications – Certified EKG Technician
