About The Position

The Cardiometabolic Educator I is responsible for delivering education to healthcare providers and stakeholders regarding Novo Nordisk's cardiometabolic product portfolio. This role focuses on enhancing cardiometabolic management and establishing Novo Nordisk as a preferred partner in patient care. The position involves collaboration with various internal teams and is not a clinical patient-facing role.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or Pharm D is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience is required; relevant educational experience or industry experience can be substituted.
  • Ideal mix of both clinical and business experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills required (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role is required.
  • Prior computer experience using sales data/call reporting software preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual preferred in certain geographic markets.
  • Understanding of the healthcare landscape is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) to increase product utilization and optimize treatment based on evidence-based medicine and guidelines.
  • Develop trusted adviser relationships with key stakeholders and present approved educational resources.
  • Collaborate with targeted customers to identify appropriate patients and communicate effectively with field counterparts.
  • Coordinate with sales colleagues to synergize efforts and present approved educational resources.
  • Utilize budget and resources to execute overall strategy and educational program goals within the territory.
  • Establish obesity as a chronic disease requiring pharmacotherapy and educate HCPs on appropriate pharmacologic choices.
  • Support local market opportunities with education and awareness across the ecosystem for obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
