About The Position

Cardiology Technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Assists in the daily operations of the Cardiodiagnostics Department through the performance of electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests and other non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures for patients as directed according to established standards and practices. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education. Requirements

• Coursework/Training: Courses/Training in ECG, EKG Interpretation, Treadmill, Holter scanning.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 6 months of experience as ECG technician.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the daily operations of the Cardiodiagnostics Department through the performance of electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests and other non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures for patients as directed according to established standards and practices.
• Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.
