Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to acquire a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) including appropriate preparation of skin surfaces, correct placement of electrodes and leads, accurate patient identification, and verification electronic upload of the ECG to the patient's electronic medical record. Demonstrates proficiency in the configuration, communication, clinical use and trouble-shooting of FDA-approved medical devices including stress testing equipment. Provides communication with patients prior to their stress testing appointment with the correct appointment information and correct required prep. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
