About The Position

Seeking a Cardiology Technician at Essentia Health's 32nd Avenue Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. This position is 40 hours per week. Shifts are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm to 5:00 pm. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required.

Requirements

• Completed course work in a medically related field such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, nursing, EMT, paramedic, respiratory care, or rhythm interpretation is preferred.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Is a member of the non-invasive Cardiovascular team.
• Plans, organizes and implements a variety of cardiac stress testing protocols.
• Provides ambulatory ECG monitoring services to patients.
• Must interact effectively with patients, families, and all other members of the health care team.
• Provides care for adult patients with cardiorespiratory illness.
