Cardiology Non-Invasive Tech PRN

About the position

The Cardiology Non-Invasive Technician is responsible for administration of all non-invasive procedures as required such as treadmill, nuclear treadmills, pacemaker analysis etc. Demonstrates competence and knowledge in the assessment, treatment and care from the newborn to the geriatric patient, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs application and scanning of all Holter monitor testing as required.
• Schedules and performs all Trans telephonic Pacemaker Analysis.
• Performs all treadmill, nuclear treadmills, and pharmacological treadmills as ordered by physicians.
• Performs instruction to patient in Event Recording Testing as ordered.
• Completes all aspects of departmental paperwork.
• Maintains equipment by cleaning and sterilizing.
• Monitors and reports specified critical value occurrences.
• Restocks departmental inventories as necessary.
• Attends in-service programs and department meetings as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience.
