About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Cardiology Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative responsibilities in addition to patient care. You will support a remote Provider in the Las Vegas and Houston market. You will report to the Clinical Administrator. Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 3265 East Tropicana Ave, Suite B, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered
• 3+ years MA experience
• 1+ year of Cardiology experience
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• perform clinical tasks, including discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs
• responsible for medication reconciliation, obtain recent blood pressure and document the information into electronic medical records
• collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows
• Work within broad guidelines
