About The Position

UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (or physician assistant) to join our inpatient cardiology team at UT Health Tyler.
About the Position:
Schedule is rotating shifts, with mainly evening shifts
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM; alternating weeks of 3 and 4 twelve-hour shifts
1 weekend call rotation every 7-8 weeks
Extra shifts compensated
Inpatient only
Opportunity to work with 15-20 different cardiologists, and 8 advanced practice providers in the hospital

Responsibilities

• Support the cardiologists by taking consults for inpatients
• Helping with patient discharges
• Helping with transfers
• Rounding on patients when called upon
• Overseeing stress tests
• Answers questions from nursing floors
