Cardiology Electrophysiology Physician
About The Position
Kansas City Heart Rhythm Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible electrophysiologist to join a large, well-established cardiology practice based in Overland Park, KS. Practice provides full range of cardiac diagnostic tests and treatments, including acute coronary care, cardiac catheterization, coronary CT angiography, womens cardiovascular health, peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, and Kansas Citys first electrophysiology laboratory Highly skilled team of cardiologists provides the latest treatments in state-of-the-art facilities, including our nationally certified vascular, nuclear, and echocardiographic advanced imaging laboratories, and a patient experience thats second-to-none Our cardiovascular team consists of 5 cardiothoracic surgeons, 17 noninvasive clinical cardiologists, 13 interventional cardiologists, 9 electrophysiologists, and 40+ advanced practice providers Physician-led board/governance structure that directs the strategic direction of the service line ACGME accredited cardiology fellowship program started in 2022 A full array of industry-leading, innovative clinical trials and authoring numerous peer-review publications Many of our physicians are internationally recognized cardiac thought leaders that believe heart care should be compassionate, responsive, and best in class HCA Midwest Health is Kansas Citys largest network and recognized leader in healthcare, consisting of doctors, hospitals, emergency rooms (ERs), urgent care clinics, outpatient centers, physician practices, and surgery centers. Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in electrophysiology
- Eligible for state licensure in the states of Kansas and Missouri
- Will deploy to multiple HCA locations in the Kansas City metro
- Call rotation 1:3 or better
- Open to new graduates
