About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Cardiology Cath Lab Technologist with strong Invasive Cardiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience to support a high-performing cardiovascular team. This role is responsible for assisting physicians during complex diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care delivery.

Requirements

  • Candidates must meet one of the following experience/credential pathways : Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR Associate’s degree + 3+ years recent Cath Lab experience
  • RCIS Certification (required)
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications
  • IABP certification/course
  • Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist 5+ years recent EP experience OR Any two: CI, VI, or RCIS certifications BLS, ACLS, and IABP required
  • Special Procedures Technologist (Levels I–III) Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT)
  • ARRT registered and licensed (if applicable)
  • Minimum 2+ years radiology or Cath Lab/IR experience
  • Advanced certifications (RCIS/CI/VI) or additional experience required for higher levels
  • EP training required for EP-focused roles
  • BLS, ACLS, and IABP required

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and hemodynamic recording
  • Operate interventional equipment and imaging systems in accordance with established protocols
  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Educate patients on procedures to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, including setup and breakdown of procedural trays
  • Assist with administration of contrast media
  • Transfer patients safely between beds, stretchers, and procedure tables
  • Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and cleaning
  • Maintain department inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
