About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Cardiology Cath Lab Technologist with strong Invasive Cardiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience to support a high-performing cardiovascular team. This role is responsible for assisting physicians during complex diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care delivery.

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following experience/credential pathways : Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR Associate’s degree + 3+ years recent Cath Lab experience
RCIS Certification (required)
Current BLS & ACLS certifications
IABP certification/course
Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist 5+ years recent EP experience OR Any two: CI, VI, or RCIS certifications BLS, ACLS, and IABP required
Special Procedures Technologist (Levels I–III) Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT)
ARRT registered and licensed (if applicable)
Minimum 2+ years radiology or Cath Lab/IR experience
Advanced certifications (RCIS/CI/VI) or additional experience required for higher levels
EP training required for EP-focused roles
BLS, ACLS, and IABP required

Responsibilities

Assist physicians in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and hemodynamic recording
Operate interventional equipment and imaging systems in accordance with established protocols
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
Educate patients on procedures to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation
Prepare and maintain sterile fields, including setup and breakdown of procedural trays
Assist with administration of contrast media
Transfer patients safely between beds, stretchers, and procedure tables
Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and cleaning
Maintain department inventory and supplies
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
Participate in ongoing professional development and training
