Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-430 Regional travel to our outreach locations (South Dakota, Des Moines, Lincoln, and Western Nebraska) by car and plane throughout the year. Average of 6 days per year. A Brief Overview Prescribes, delegates and coordinates professional nursing care to pediatric and adult congenital heart patients through the use of nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy/procedure. Demonstrates competency in identified skills for area. Expands knowledge of pediatric practice in clinic specific area and contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues and others. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing Required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in nursing with pediatric patients Required
  • Health Services\RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license Required
  • Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is Required
  • Occasional driving may be required for the position Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a cardiac environment Preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of insurance authorization.
  • Other certifications/education as defined by area specific job competencies.
