About The Position

Austin Heart would like to recruit an advanced practice provider to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas, in Harker Heights, TX. Qualified Candidates: Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain Practicing at the Harker Heights office with two interventional cardiologists and one non-invasive cardiologist; may include outreach locations such as Lampasas, TX Call requirements: 12 weekends per year Office hours: Mon-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-4:30 Start date: ASAP Licensed in the state of Texas The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive salary Full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k with matching CME allowance PTO About Austin Heart: Austin Heart is the largest cardiology group in Central Texas with 48 physicians, 50 APPs and 245 employees. Requirements
