Specialty: General Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Las Cruces, NM Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical only Shift Schedule: Mon -Thu; 8a -5p & Fri; 8a -12p - Need Full -time; Long -term Patient Volume: 15 -20 Patient Demographics: 18+ yrs old Rounding Included: Yes; physician has assigned week for hospital coverage. Support Staff: 2 NPs, 5 CMAs (1 -2 per physician), 2 Patient -care Coordinators, 5 Front Desk/Check -out Required Procedures/Duties: - OP Cardiology & Non -invasive (Echocardiography) - Reading walk -in EKGs & hospital ECHOs No. of Beds: 168; 23 ICU Beds in Dept: 22 No. of Exam Rooms: 22 Trauma Level: III EMR: Athena (OP), Cliniview & MedHost (IP) Other Info: Full availability required Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements
- Active NM License
- BC/BE
- ACGME/AOA -accredited fellowship in cardiovascular disease
- BLS
- ACLS
- Case logs
