Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: General Cardiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Las Cruces, NM • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Thu; 8a-5p & Fri; 8a-12p - Need Full-time; Long-term • Patient Volume: 15-20 • Patient Demographics: 18+ yrs old • Rounding Included: Yes; physician has assigned week for hospital coverage. • Support Staff: 2 NPs, 5 CMAs (1-2 per physician), 2 Patient-care Coordinators, 5 Front Desk/Check-out • Required Procedures/Duties: - OP Cardiology & Non-invasive (Echocardiography) - Reading walk-in EKGs & hospital ECHOs • No. of Beds: 168; 23 ICU • Beds in Dept: 22 • No. of Exam Rooms: 22 • Trauma Level: III • EMR: Athena (OP), Cliniview & MedHost (IP) • Other Info: Full availability required • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active NM License • BC/BE • ACGME/AOA-accredited fellowship in cardiovascular disease • BLS, ACLS • Case logs
