About The Position

The Division of Comprehensive and Preventive Cardiology within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking an outstanding BC/BE general noninvasive cardiologist to join a high-volume, physician-led practice in a premier tertiary care academic medical center. A successful candidate will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, contributing to a three-shield practice model that integrates clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activities in accordance with the Mayo Clinic Model of Care. The expected practice profile includes a robust outpatient continuity practice in comprehensive and preventive cardiology, inpatient general cardiology service coverage (typically no more than 8 weeks per year, commensurate with departmental staffing), and active engagement in teaching medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. Scholarly and research activities are expected and well-supported through the Department's extensive academic infrastructure. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and care teams is imperative to our practice.

Requirements

  • Eligible for an Arizona medical license
  • Board certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Broad clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Demonstrated dedication to medical education and scholarly activity
