About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE general non-invasive Cardiologist to join our expanding practice in Brenham, Texas. This unique position offers not only the opportunity to practice high-quality clinical cardiology but also to take on a leadership role in further developing and advancing our inpatient non-invasive cardiology program. Position Highlights Outpatient-focused clinical practice, supplemented by inpatient/ED consults and rounding. The position features a minimal call schedule, with opportunities to further refine and optimize call responsibilities. Leadership opportunities to shape and grow our inpatient non-invasive cardiology services Active involvement in the expansion of procedures and services, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs), stress testing, echocardiograms, advanced cardiac imaging, and inpatient medicine Academic appointment through the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine may be available Coverage includes one hospital located in Brenham, just a short walk from the cardiology clinic. You will work alongside a supportive, collegial team (1 other cardiologist at BSWH-Brenham at this time plus a network of interventional and non-invasive cardiologists in College Station) and have access to state-of-the-art facilities and a robust EMR (EPIC). Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Texas licensed and DEA by start date
  • ABIM Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiovascular Disease
  • Experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient-focused clinical practice, supplemented by inpatient/ED consults and rounding.
