About The Position

Join VCA Aurora Animal Hospital as a board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist. You will be supported by world-class medicine, technology, facilities, and a talented team, empowered to do your best work. VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is a 24-hour emergency/specialty/general practice hospital with a staff of over 19 veterinarians, including specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Emergency & Critical Care, Radiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Anesthesia. The hospital operates in a 26,000 square foot building, with a 16,000 square foot addition currently under construction, and features a strong rotating internship program. It is equipped with advanced technology including a 1.5T MRI, 3 ultrasound units, 16 slice CT, fluoroscopy, 2 x-ray machines, various scopes, HBOT, Laser, and Halcyon LinAc, and is AHAA accredited. Associates have access to a network of specialists within VCA. The Aurora area is located 37 miles west of Chicago and includes 10 unique cities and towns. Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist
