Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with training and/or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. Requirements

  • Board eligible or board certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management

Nice To Haves

  • NBCL certification and/or obesity management is encouraged but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and managing risk factors for cardiovascular disease
  • Develop tailored treatment strategies based on patient specific risk factors
  • Willingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis
  • Genetic counseling for familial history of early onset heart disease
  • Collaborate with primary care and multiple specialists and ancillary service providers to coordinate care
