Cardiologist (Non-Invasive) - The Cardiac & Vascular Institute
About The Position
We are excited to grow our reach and are currently seeking a full-time, Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team. This position will primarily serve a patient base out of our local Gainesville clinics, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and affiliated hospitals. At The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI), a proud partner of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), we are committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based cardiovascular care. Our team includes 24 board-certified physicians and 8 advanced practice providers across a wide spectrum of specialties including general cardiology, interventional, structural, vascular, electrophysiology, heart failure, and advanced imaging. With a strong focus on prevention and early detection, TCAVI is an accredited testing facility equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. We participate in clinical research and prioritize minimally invasive techniques whenever possible, giving our patients access to cutting-edge treatment in a compassionate, patient-first environment.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
- MD or DO from a U.S.-accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiology program
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Nice To Haves
- Nuclear and Echo board certifications preferred
- Strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and clinical quality
- Can sponsor J1 and H1-B physician waivers
Responsibilities
- Echo, nuclear imaging, TEE, Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring (CACS)
- Stress testing, hospital consults, and general outpatient cardiology
- Call coverage shared across the group, supported by APPs
