About The Position

Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in accordance with established protocols. Conduct carotid duplex ultrasounds to assess for stenosis or other vascular abnormalities. Perform lower extremity venous doppler studies to evaluate for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or venous insufficiency. Conduct lower extremity arterial studies , including ankle-brachial index (ABI) with doppler, to assess peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Provide accurate and thorough preliminary findings for physician interpretation. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. Maintain equipment and ensure proper function, cleanliness, and calibration. Accurately document findings in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Collaborate with cardiologists, vascular specialists, and medical staff to provide coordinated patient care. Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards at all times.
