Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies. FTE: .01 Per Diem, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Variable The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Ranging from ultrasound exams, therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound procedures, this position requires independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity.
Requirements
- Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months a formal ultrasound technology training program
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovasular Credentialing International
- If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment
- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred
- Current BLS required

- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred
Responsibilities
- You will produce optimum scanning results, using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and schedule ultrasound appointments
- You will perform various duties to include: writing reports, filing, charging and stocking rooms with appropriate products
- You will place patient welfare above all other duties while the patient remains in the ultrasound department
