The ultrasound technologist performs cardiac ultrasound procedures this includes Echo and Vascular sand related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. May be required to learn to scan vascular exams i.e., venous duplex scans. Will perform direct patient care in a compassionate and timely manner. Under the direction of Radiology leadership, the Ultrasound tech performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the use of ultrasound for the diagnosis of disease or pathology. This will be located at Enon office and will support Springfield and Urbana locations.
