Completes a concise summary of the findings for use by the interpreting cardiologist. Prioritizes studies to ensure timeliness of patient care. Maintains working knowledge of all systems and equipment.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hospital or office based ultrasonographer
• Associates Degree required, BA Preferred
• Current ARDMS registration
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pre Procedural Prep
• Accurately enters data
• Performs echocardiography to include M-mode, 2-D, Doppler as indicated
• Assists MD and other staff with TEES, Stress echo, Pharmacology studies
• Obtains proper views as indicated
• Utilizes settings/techniques to enhance image clarity for optimal MD review
• Post Procedural Charting and documentation
