CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health. They have served Arkansas since 1888 with a history of many firsts. Together with more than 4500 coworkers, 1000 medical staff and 500 volunteers, they consistently receive praise for care advancements. CommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health in 2019. With combined resources, CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside their hospitals and out in the community. CHI St. Vincent provides team members with the same level of care they provide to others, caring about their well-being and offering benefits that complement and support work/life balance. As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse at CHI St Vincent Infirmary, the role involves caring for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events, post-procedural, and receiving patients from the Cath Lab PACU. The nurse will also help their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital. The job is dynamic, with evolving patient needs, requiring adaptability and detail-orientation to observe vitals and report early warning signs to a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, EKG techs, and other cardiovascular professionals. Success in this role comes from enthusiasm to go the extra mile for patients, utilization of critical thinking skills, and strong assessment skills. Continuing education opportunities are offered to support nursing career advancement and clinical nursing skills.
