About The Position
Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg | MOST URGENT | Acute Care RN 12-Hour Shifts | Cardiac Patient Population | Strong Team Support Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Gainesville, Florida. This is a most urgent opening within a progressive, financially stable hospital system for nurses who have recent acute care experience and are comfortable supporting cardiac and medical-surgical patients. POSITION OVERVIEW The Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN provides patient-centered nursing care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. This role includes assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, patient education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of recent acute care RN experience
- Acute care experience must be within the last 2 years per recruiter guidance
- Registered Nurse required
- Nursing Diploma required
- Basic Life Support required within 30 days of employment start date
- ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date
- Ability to work day or night shifts with rotating weekends
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient education skills required
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data
- Identify nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Advocate for patient safety and quality care
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive outcomes
- Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment
