About The Position
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant capable of doing complex/high-risk cases to join our exceptional hospital-employed team in Palm Beach, FL. Program highlights: Largest heart program in South FL with 700 open heart cases annually Top 2 TAVR program in FL with 250 cases annually Ten open research trials
Requirements
- Board Certification
- A minimum 5-year of Cardiovascular Surgery Operating Room experience is required
- Willingness and ability to practice cutting-edge, state-of-the-art cardiovascular surgery
- Must be experienced in endovascular vein harvesting
- Willingness to practice the whole gamut of cardiovascular surgery
- Must be committed, willing to collaborate, and enthusiastic about taking care of patients
- Must have excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in building an advanced cardiovascular surgery program, including a multidisciplinary clinic
- Work with surgery residents
- Responsibilities will include providing care to patients in the clinic & hospital settings
- Provide care to patients in the clinic & hospital settings
