This is an exciting opportunity to care for complex surgical patients in a fast-paced, supportive environment while collaborating closely with surgeons, residents, and a multidisciplinary team.   • Provide pre- and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients in the inpatient setting
  • Perform clinical procedures such as placement/removal of central lines, chest tubes, sutures, and temporary pacing wires under surgeon guidance
  • Manage patient admissions, critical consults, and ongoing post-operative care during night shifts
  • Complete discharge paperwork, summaries, and communicate with cardiologists/primary care providers as needed
  • Organize patient information and participate in case conferences for surgical planning and follow-up
  • Collaborate closely with surgical teams, residents, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Massachusetts license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in an ICU or Cardiac setting
  • BLS certification
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Comfort performing clinical procedures and managing acutely ill patients
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
