About The Position

The Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, is seeking a board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) surgeon to serve as a Clinical Associate in the Division of Cardiac Surgery. The Clinical Associate will be an individual seeking additional training that will focus on high-risk cardiac surgery including heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and ECMO, and catheter based procedures. They will assist in the operating room and cover occasional call and cardiac surgery service responsibility. Appointment as in Instructor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Requirements

  • Successful completion of a certified residency and fellowship training program.
  • Eligible for a full medical license to practice in Massachusetts.
  • MA Control Substance registration and individual Federal DEA
  • Board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) surgeon
