About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current CA Radiology Technologist license.
  • Current Mammographic Permit.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Digital Training Documentation.
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Must provide documentation of Digital Mammography training (8 hrs), Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months), and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months).
  • Able to operate radiologic equipment.
  • Good communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT Certificate.
  • IV Certification.
  • Associates Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of digital mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, wire localizations, galactography, biopsy procedures, DEXA exams, and quality control.
  • Ensure high-quality care is provided to the patient while meeting the needs of the organization, regulatory agencies, physicians, and staff.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's Core Values.
  • Work independently and provide excellent patient care and communication.
