About The Position

At CDL Nuclear, we help our Cardiology Facility Clients by providing innovative healthcare and medical life science products and service solutions around the country. CDL Nuclear has provided advanced cardiac imaging services to more than 850 healthcare facilities since 1992. As a Stress Tech, you will work alongside our Nuclear Medicine Technologist at our cardiac client facilities in and around the Houston area. You will be responsible for moving patients through the clinic, obtaining a brief patient history and physical, monitoring the patient throughout the procedure including obtaining vital signs, starting IVs, assisting in treadmill and pharmaceutical stress tests, patient charting, ECG monitoring, and reporting to and working under the direction of the nuclear technologist and the physician.

Requirements

  • High school degree, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience working as a monitor technician, a medical assistant, EMT, paramedic or have some type of hospital cardiac/telemetry experience
  • Must have IV experience
  • Ability to pass background, urine drug screen and physical
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, and BLS, (ACLS Preferred)
  • Valid drivers license and proof of current insurance
