About The Position

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is seeking a full-time Cardiac Sonography (Ultrasound) Instructor for its Fresno, CA campus. The instructor will play a crucial role in the development and success of students in the cardiac sonography program.

Requirements

• AS Degree, BS Degree preferred
• ARDMS, RDCS, Current licensure in good standing within their discipline
• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a staff sonographer at an imaging facility/hospital/clinic
• 1-3 Years Experience as an instructor preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach classes according to the assigned schedule
• Follow the Syllabus and Daily Lesson Plans
• Teach students scanning techniques and approaches
• Monitor students scanning progress
• Evaluate student progress and assist with student growth and success with scanning
• Maintain current Continuing Medical Education (CME) according to the ARDMS requirements
