About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and equivalent work experience in Cardiac Sonography.
  • Five years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Possess a credential in Advanced Cardiac Sonography (ACS).
  • Willingness to teach or learn to teach online.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement responsibilities effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of teaching experience in a higher education environment.
  • Experience with curriculum development and instruction.
  • Familiarity with Cardiac Sonography accreditation procedures.
  • Experience with assessment of student learning outcomes.
  • Experience with distance learning and alternate instructional delivery systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization, administration, and continuous improvement of the Cardiac Sonography program.
  • Participate in faculty hiring decisions and facilitate faculty meetings.
  • Administer and lead Program Advisory Committee meetings.
  • Maintain program accreditation and compile necessary reports.
  • Facilitate student assessment and program evaluation to measure effectiveness.
  • Stay current with industry trends through conferences and professional organizations.
  • Prepare course materials and maintain classroom and lab environments for effective learning.
  • Participate in institutional events and meetings, and assist in advertising the College.
  • Include faculty and agency preceptors in ongoing program planning and evaluation.
  • Encourage student engagement and assist with student grievances.
  • Collaborate with partners to recruit students and market the program.
  • Perform faculty evaluations and other departmental responsibilities.
